Join Victorian High Country Photography legend Charlie Brown and Photography industry veteran Brendan Waites as we lead you on a 3 Day tour into one of Victorias most photogenic regions, the magnificent High Country.
Let us take the wheel and guide you on an unforgettable high country journey. We’ll have lots of laughs along the way as we stop at some iconic locations and show you how to best photograph them.
All camera models are welcome - SLR or mirrorless cameras are prefered.

Photography genres covered: Landscape, Long Exposure, Macro, Astro (weather permitting), Portrait in natural high country light and locations.

Equipment Required: Camera and any lenses you may own - Tripod - Camera bag or backpack - spare batteries - Polarising Filter - ND filter (not essential) - Sturdy boots - rain jacket.

2 Nights Accomodation in Mount Beauty at the Myee Alpine Retreat - Meals from Dinner Friday to Lunch Sunday - All transport to locations - Full tuition from 2 very experienced photographers.

Fitness level required: A few very short walks (less than 500m) on some uneven surfaces.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
Composition techniques both wide angle and telephoto.
Correct use of Filters.
Long Exposure Photography.
Corect use of the various modes of your camera - Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Full Manual modes.

This workshop INCLUDES full tuition on YOUR camera. Brendan and Charlie will show you the best settings to capture all of the places we visit along the way.

There will be a moderate amount of walking required at some locations. A base level of fitness is recommended.

This is an ALL WEATHER workshop. Being primarily a landscape workshop, you’ll need to be prepared for any weather. (Bad weather can make for the best photos) - Victorias High Country in March can be unpredictable. Sudden drops in temperature to below freezing are not uncommon.
Some parts of this workshop may be postponed under dire weather predictions.
